I'm questioning whether or not we should ever use finances. It's not something a GM has to deal with unless he has a cap limit issued by the owner, which would be just too complex to add into the league. Realistically, everyone should be entitled to 5 camps and 2 re-rates each year, especially the bad teams who wouldn't generate revenue. As far as signing coaches go, nobody really fights over who gets which coach, usually it's a quick change as it is in real life. What do you guys think? |

personally i dont think we should have finanaces
if your team has high salary like mine my projected bank account at the end of the year is something like 5 mil teams will just run into the ground with high salarys
are you able to cut finances and keep salary cap? |

it is a gms job, but its also tough for a team like mine for example im pushing the salary cap and that goes against your finanace and you just cant make enough money in a season to cover 63 million
you make like 1 mil a game |

Personally, I like having the financial part of it. It makes it more challenging and you have to really make smart decisions regarding trades, etc. Yeah, it's a GM's job to try to win but you also have to make money.
You can make money in a number of ways: change seat prices, trade for more economically priced players, buy out way overpriced players. I actually like the responsibility of being financially liable.
You can still keep the finances and just not charge for camps and re-rates if you like though. Not gonna argue with that. |

Well I mean going bankrupt doesn't harm anybody unless we charge for this kind of stuff. There's a lot that goes into it. However, if we keep finances, we can have signing bonuses as a part of Free Agency, but then again, UFA probably won't be much good until a couple seasons in. |

Should note that if we decide to use finances, we'll either start next year with money replenished or I'll set everyone's to the same as soon as it's decided and we'll all be set for a couple years. I should note that if we do add finances, we can make it available for trade, as in a money for pick swap or something along those lines. |

We should have finances. Teams have to have some fiscal responsibility to their team and the league. If you have 50 dollars, you can't be spending 75. I agree with Buffalo GM, it forces GM's to be creative when running their team and there are a number of ways we can implement this so that teams close to the cap come away unscathed. |

I think we need to keep them. It is another aspect to running your team.
Also is there a money bonus for winning your Division, Conference, or Cup? |

Not in place, aside from home playoff games, which are automatic anyways. This is what I mean, by adding them in we have to figure all these things out. |

Which I'm fine with, but there will be some bumps down the road. |
